Sardo appeared in a ball of flames in the alleyway near the busy coffee shop.

"Well, we've come to discuss the terms of this..." he said in a cool manner pulling out the small cloth bag
"You are a monster Sardo, " Jacey turned on him coldly, "but I want my mate back."

"now now....no temper.." holds up the bag, " because it can always be...rescinded.

"I want my mate..back"

"What do you have to offer...?" Sardo raises an eyebrow

"My throne, my power...."

" I have no need for power..I have all the power I want," Sardo sits back

"Then what...do...you...want?" Jacey replied through gritted teeth

"Hmm....you need to help me get my mentally unstable mate back, Kage..." Sardo leans forward, "and"

"and what....? Jacey glares at him

"Your life essence..."

"My life essence, Sardo?" Thinks a moment, "deal, but only if I die...naturally understand? Sardo? Are you listening?

  Sardo turns and glares at her for a moment and then changes his mind.

" I want Ember, my daughter, instead of my mate. You will get her for me."

"I can't kidnap Kage's daughter Sardo. How am I supposed to do that?" Jacey looks shocked for a moment, her face darkening.

"You will get her for me, or no deal. She is a full blooded demon. She belongs with me and you will get her. Or we have no contract."

Jacey stares at Sardo for a moment, "Ok, I will do it. In exchange for my mate's soul. I give you my life essence which you will receive when I die a natural cause and I will get Ember for you.

"Alright," Sardo replies drawing up a contract from thin air, " You will sign here, and here."
Jacey bends over and in a flourish signs it. The contract vanishes

Sardo smiles, "I will await your messages, until I receive Ember your mate's soul is still mine."
And getting up he disappears into the Alleyway, the reflection of the flames imprinting on the wall.

Jacey looks angrily at his disappearing figure and returns to her castle.
Jasper's body still laying cold and dead on the hard castle floor.
